We love nothing more than grand gestures, and boy was this one of them! Chris originally proposed to Erin at the Grand Canyon and they ended up doing a follow up session that portrayed a lovely seaside engagement. Luna Bella Photography captured the sweet moment beautifully. The couple opted for a casual beachy look which was so perfect for the colorful ocean destination!
From Luna Bella Photography:
Erin & Chris met for the first time in Tallahassee 2007 and reconnected via Facebook in 2010 when Chris moved to Lakeland and Erin was in grad school in Orlando. Chris proposed at the western rim of the Grand Canyon while the two were on vacation. As soon as the two got to the first stop at Eagle Point, Chris asked another traveling couple if they’d take some pictures of them overlooking the Grand Canyon. Just then, he asked Erin to remove the splint from her recently broken finger (LOL!). She thought he was nuts–but did it anyway. Chris shakily (probably from fear of heights AND nerves before proposing!) bent down on one knee and asked Erin to marry him! She said YES! We had so much fun at their engagement session. We wanted to have a candid session where we’d capture the two being themselves and being comfortable with each other. Their engagement session had been rescheduled about 4 times because of the weather and boy am I glad we scored this day! It was a gorgeous day on Clearwater Beach!
