We adore fairy tales. We adore the fantasy, the other worldliness, the ability to embody beauty in every inch of a location. This mountain top bridal shoot has all those things that make us adore fairy tales, and quite frankly, it looks like a fairy tale.
Our bride Amanda looks like she’s been made for the mountain top with her striking figure and gorgeous gown against the expansive sky. Add some genius lighting effects from the talented Elmer Escobar Photography and we have a bride of elegance, beauty, and strength. We have a mountaintop bride.
We want to thank both Amanda and Elmer Escobar Photography for providing us with these stunning, and magical photographs.
Before Amanda and Nick’s big day, we met up with Amanda for her Bridal session. I had seen the leaves turning and I had shot at Petit Jean the previous year so I knew that would be a beautiful location. Before I even pitched the location Amanda emailed me and asked me if it would be too much trouble to take the drive up there (it was about an hour drive). One thing I’m adamant about is if the location is right, I’m willing to drive as much as it takes. And this location was perfect.
The wind and the vast landscape meshed perfectly with Amanda’s beautiful wedding dress. Her mother and grandmother came along, and it was such a beautiful experience for them to see their daughter/granddaughter looking so regal. The following week was their wedding and I was so excited to be there and for Nick to see Amanda in her wedding dress for the very first time.
