Sophia & Josh’s Vibrant Uptown Engagement

By  |

One look at Sophia and Josh’s engagement photos and you can tell this couple is full of life and love. They took their vibrant uptown engagement wowed their city. This couple knows a thing or two about style. They’re able to coordinate outfits perfectly, whether it’s a fun look like denim button-downs or sleek, black formal wear perfect for a night out on the town. They also like to play with vibrant colors and patterns, like Sophia’s cheetah print shoes or that bright, canary armchair they posed on.

Thank you, Casey Hendrickson Photography for catching this style and love! Congratulations Sophia and Josh on your vibrant, uptown engagement!

From Casey Hendrickson Photography:

The first time I met Josh was at church. I had gone just expecting it to be a normal church day, but he greeted me and said, “The spirit of the Lord is in this place today!” I just laughed and went on, but he kept coming over to me and finally asked if he could call. We exchanged phone numbers, and chatted for about two months before he asked me out on our first official date.
I’d gotten all dressed up, and he surprised me by taking me to Bentley’s, which is 27 stories up! When we were seated, he took my hand and said, “I want you to see yourself as high up as I see you.” Such a sweetheart! We went on to date for two more years, and I’d gone on a girls’ date with my best friends to Atlanta. They insisted we have a spa day, and said we HAD to go to happy hour somewhere. On the way to the restaurant, I began noticing places I’d been to with Josh, and it really made me miss him.
As I was reminiscing about our time together, I realized his family was walking towards me! I thought for sure I was dreaming. We were by the fountains there that splash up and then go back down, and as it was coming down, I saw Josh standing in the center. He got down on one knee, and asked for my hand in marriage. I obviously said of course, but one thing I was wishing is that my family could be there too. The fountains had gone back up so we took a moment together, and as the water went back down, I saw them there! He had flown my family in to celebrate with us, and it was absolute perfection.
