We love it! This particular styled shoot by Alexandra Wallace was inspired by the Urban Outfitters generation who are looking for a cute wedding, without breaking the bank.
Imagine yourself as someone who just turned twenty one, where your at a point in my life where it seems like everyone you went to high school with is getting engaged, hitched, or starting a family. A lot of the time people spend their life savings and retirement trying to get the “wedding of their dreams” when it’s possible to get the exact wedding you want but a reasonable budget!
Luckily we live in a time of Pinterest and tons of fabulous DIYs, and Alexandra Wallace is someone who is working as a fashion and wedding photographer, her brain is pretty much thinking up ideas full time. The table setting that was created was centered around desserts – much more affordable than serving dinner to every guest at your wedding! Also, instead of buying a table cloth, you can go to your local fabric store and found a pretty bolt of fabric [on sale, too!] and buy just a couple yards. Instead of opting for an expensive and more formal gown, she styled her bride Alyssa with a feminine, lace sun dress, but paired it with a sturdy pair of boots to give her a little bit of an edge to the assemble.
Surprisingly, the only big ‘splurge’ in the budget was with the ring set for the bride and groom – hand-crafted by Santa Barbara jewelry designer Karen Hazarian, each ring is etched with a song lyric; “I saved the best of me for you” and “I can’t remember life before”. Totally sweet, right!? If you’re a bride getting discouraged about making ends meet while planning your big day, rest assured that a tight budget can still produce adorable results!
