Step 1
Straighten your hair using your choice of iron. Any kind of straightening iron will work. Take the hair section by section and run the iron through your hair until it is to your satisfaction. Add a little bit of Diamond Oil from the Redkin Line to make the frizzies go away and you hair is soft and smooth.
Step 2
Part your hair down the middle. Take a section of hair from the crown area of the right side of your head and separate it into 3 sections.
Step 3
Braid that section of hair backward, using a simple three strand braid.
Step 4
Tie a small rubber band at the end to keep the braid intact.
Step 5
Pin the Braid Horizontally wrapping around your head.
Step 6
Repeat steps 2-4 on the opposite side of your head.
Step 7
Pin the hair horizontally across your head as you did with the other braid. Tuck the ends of the braids out of sight.
Step 8
You now have a Braided Half Crown that is both simple to accomplish as well as stylish and versatile. If you want to dress it up a little bit, maybe curl your hair instead of making it straight. Or you can even add a hairpiece to the side or the back of the braid to glam it up a bit.
