This romantic backyard wedding is everything that we needed to warm our hearts on this chilly day! Rachelle and Jeremy planned to do their wedding without a photographer, but to the sister of the bride, Kara, that wasn’t acceptable. So she gave the gift of photography to the happy couple so they could keep the memory of their wedding alive forever. The Brass Lens shot the ceremony, and the photos are absolutely jaw dropping. Deep blues contrast with warm fall colors to bring comfort to this intimate backyard ceremony. The bride wore a gorgeous lace dress accessorized with an elbow length veil while her groom chose a bluish gray dress shirt alongside a dark blue tie to complete the color palette. This wedding was filled to the brim with love, joy, and family! What more could a couple want on their big day?
From The Brass Lens:
I was contacted just two days before this wedding took place, by a woman I had met once through a mutual friend while out for drinks! She asked me if I just might have the availability to photograph her Brother’s wedding that Saturday. I was told it was a laid back, “backyard wedding” and that it was put together in a mere 30 days, and that they did not expect to have a photographer at all. Luckily, Kara, (the grooms sister) wanted to give them the gift of photography. I put together a quick little package that had me there for 4 hours, as I already had 6 mini-shoots for my fall colors specials earlier that day.?I met the Bride just 30 minutes before her ceremony!?The ceremony was intimate, and sweet, honestly, it was classically Wisconsin. Most Guests in attendance were clad in Jeans, and brandishing Beers, seated in mis matched folding and lawn chairs. Everyone seated in the Bride and grooms backyard, among farming Equipment ;)After the ceremony we took off to the Chilton observatory for Photos, that is where Magic truly happened, as Strangers we all discovered a shared spirit of adventure. The Bride, willingly leaping Fences into tall grassy fields, and the entire party, ready for any suggestion I had.?Most Weddings I photography are heavy on detail. I am really, truly, in love with this wedding, because it wasn’t about the stuff, the food, the location…. It was about the Bride, and Groom, surrounded by the people they love, in a natural setting. I am so grateful to have been connected to Rachelle, and Jeremy for our short time together, I truly believe the magic we created could not have happened any other way!?
