Happy 4th of July Beauties! I hope that all of you are spending your day celebrating our independence and making amazing memories with your loved ones. Speaking of making memories I love how places you go create memories, from the park where you had your first picnic, or the place where you had your first kiss with you other half to the place where you had your own memorable engagement, places hold a special place in our hearts because of the memories we make there.
Emily & Larry chose The Blue Spoon Cafe to create their memorable engagement pictures because it holds a special place in their hearts. It is the place where Larry proposed to Emily and she made all of his dreams com true by saying yes! Jasmine Rose Photography captured this couple and their memories perfectly! Congrats to the happy couple.
From Jasmine Rose Photography:
Emily and I had chatted a lot about her and Larry’s engagement session and when she told me she wanted to have it at a little cafe in Bluefield, West Virginia – I was super excited at the thought of something completely new!
Emily and Larry were engaged at East River Mountain in Bluefield, WV and afterward they had dinner at The Blue Spoon Cafe on Commerce Street in downtown Bluefield. They are so smitten with the cafe (and each other) that they decided it would be the perfect location for their engagement session, and I couldn’t agree more!
Upon arriving at The Blue Spoon Cafe, I was over the moon after laying my eyes on this charming little cafe, that I had never been to! There was color everywhere (and I am a huge fan of color) and teal french bistro sets lining the outside of the cafe, I was in heaven!
One of my favorite things during a session is picking a location that we don’t have to spend a lot of time moving from place to place, so that we can spend more time shooting – and Commerce Street did not disappoint. We did Emily and Larry’s entire engagement on one street and all of the images have so much interest and variety – I couldn’t be more pleased.
