An engagement session should be completely personal. It should be an expression of who you are not only as individuals but also a couple. So it is kind of fitting that Chris & Meagan chose to have their engagement start at the same brewery where Chris first revealed his feelings to Megan! They followed it up with a romantic photos at a cozy coffee shop and then hit the desert to round out this fun Phoenix sunset engagement by David Lemp Photography.
From David Lemp Photography:
Chris and Meagan were good friends for many years. They started working together at a law firm and would casually flirt. One night after work, Chris took Meagan out for a beer. He thought it was about time to share his feelings, after a few more beers it was time. He confessed his feelings for Meagan, and it was mutual. She had a crush on Chris from day one.
We decided to shoot at the brewery where Chris confessed his feelings, it has a lot of meaning to the couple now. We were only able to shoot for a few minutes before a large party came in and we had to exit. Chris and Meagan were looking for a more intimate spot. As we were leaving the brewery, Chris noticed an old historic brick building. As the light was dimming, we thought we should head off to the coffee shop for a more intimate setting.
Downtown Phoenix is well known for really cool/artsy coffee shops. We found one that was a historic home at one point. After a cup of coffee and exploring the coffee shop, we noticed storm clouds coming in. The desert was our final destination, so we took off right away. We arrived with minutes of light to spare. The sunset was absolutely beautiful!
